Bedford Modern School Boys-U12A vs  Stamford
On: Saturday, 28 Sep 2019
Venue: Away

On Saturday the 28th September BMS U 12 A team travelled to Stamford.

This was the return fixture for the keenly fought 6-2 victory to BMS the week before.

The game started well with BMS pressuring the Stamford line and Lorcan Heggarty touching down after some good passing moves from the BMS back line.

Stamford responded with a try of their own up the hill, before Charlie Perry went over from a ruck 5 meters out to make it 2-1 to BMS at half time.

The second half saw a huge amount of pressure from BMS on the Stamford scrum with Charlie Perry and Ronan Perkins combining well to make the third try for BMS.

A Seb Witheat interception with 5 minutes to go made sure of the result.

A double header victory for BMS and in both matches - a special mention to James Dooley who was named man of the match and was to the fore in the ruck in both matches.
