Venue: at Home

On Saturday the 14th of September the BMS U14 B team played St Albans School at home. The game was even for the first five minutes as both teams found their feet in the opening game of the new season.

The first try was scored by St Albans following an interception but was unconverted. This was followed by another unconverted score shortly after. BMS then rallied with Christian Heappey going over to score in the corner but a difficult conversion was narrowly missed. Half time saw the sides separated by five points, 5-10.

St Albans started the second half strongly and scoring three unanswered tries one of which was converted. In the last fifteen minutes BMS came back into the game with a scrum one half way leading to Christian Heappey breaking through the St Albans line scoring again in the corner. This time the conversation from the touch line was successful. Encouraged by this BMS continued to put St Albans under pressure and after good work from the forwards, Will Howes went in under the posts with extras being added.

Unfortunately time ran out before anymore tries could be scored, the final score being. BMS 19-27 St Albans.
