On: Saturday, 21 Sep 2019
Venue: Away

On Saturday 21st September BMS U14B Rugby team travelled to Queen Elizabeth School Barnet (QEB). QEB won the toss and decided to receive. Straight from the kickoff QEB knocked on and from the resulting scrum a planned move led to a Madhav Salhil bursting down the wing to score in the corner, the conversion drifted just wide. BMS led 5-0. After this strong start BMS continued to have the majority of the possession and territory and from another scrum BMS scored again with Malichi Griffith touching down in the corner. This time the conversion was on target but bounced back off the bar. QEB responded before half time with a score of their own which was unconverted. The teams went to the break with BMS leading 10-5.

In the second half BMS remained on top and were rewarded when Malichi Griffith, after a weaving run, went in under the posts. This time the conversation was successful. QEB continued to battle and were rewarded with a further unconverted score. However BMS finished strongly and were unlucky not to score again before the end. The game finished 17-10 to BMS with Mark Fletcher being awarded Man of the Match.
